About the event
Pat Cuikani, light lyrical soprano. Originally from Mexico City, she completed part of her studies with private teachers, at the Free School of Music and is a graduate of the Diocesan Higher School of Sacred Music of Toluca, as Concert Singer. Performs various genres in several languages, such as English, Italian French, German, Nahuatl, and Zapotec.
Her interest in music manifested itself from her early years. In their home, they heard, among many genres, trio music, classical, and opera, a genre that she fell in love with and motivated her to study bel canto formally. She has been invited to multiple festivals in Calgary, Canada, and has brought Mexican music to that country. She is co-founder of the folk metal band CABRAKAÄN, with which she has made various international tours, participating in festivals and offering concerts.
